The collaboration between LISSAH's Psychology department and nearby schools has led to the initiation of a significant project known as 'Swanthwanam,' aimed at improving the mental health of students in ten schools across Kodanchery and Puthuppady panchayats. The primary objective of this school clinic project is to address the mental health challenges faced by students and promote mental wellness to enhance the quality of learning and life.

'Swanthwanam' serves as a platform designed to provide counseling services to students, as well as extending support to their parents and teachers in addressing mental health difficulties. By offering this opportunity for counseling, the project strives to create a supportive environment that can alleviate some of the mental health issues experienced by students, thereby contributing to their overall well-being and improving the quality of their educational experiences.
